First Draught Write-In

Sometimes you just need to be at a table with other writers.

First Draught is a monthly in-person write-in at Two Blokes Brewing in Mount Pleasant, hosted by Rebecca Davis of Cypress & Ink. Show up, order a drink, and write. No agenda, no pressure to share what you’re working on.

How It Works

• When: Monthly — check upcoming dates below
• Where: Two Blokes Brewing, Mount Pleasant, SC — taproom with beer, wine, non-alcoholic options, and a food truck
• Arrive, find a seat, grab a drink
• Write (or think, or stare into the distance — no judgment here)
• Chat with other writers if you want to
• Leave when you need to

Rebecca hosts, and is a book coach if you have questions — but this is a community write-in, not a class or a workshop.

First Draught is free, and is meant for all writers, whether you’re deep in a first draft, mid-revision, or just trying to remember what your WIP looks like. All genres, all stages welcome. Walk-ins are great; RSVPs help us know how many tables to hold.
